She smiled at me, her deep green eyes twinkling. All the other dolls were dead by her hand, she had murdered them all.

"Who are you?" I asked, looking at her placid facade.

"Ulalume," She cooed, "I am the hidden doll, Ulalume."

"Why did you do this?"

"Because I have to. Because I'll be yours in eight months."

:D Qui and I are truly of one mind. Then again, he's more hardworking and he's got a nice bod. We're not the same.

In other YNS news, I think some dolls are coming alive... well, I'm not sure they'll really live long. I mean, we used to have a set of dolls named after diseases and they died soon after. I'm just hoping this set of dolls will live...

(A doll the size of a child with pearl-pink eyes and light brown hair dressed in all-black Lolita attire adorned with pearl-pink roses walks over to Hibiemi and holds on to her skirt)

Everyone, meet my little "Pinocchio", Cacophony. She has three other sisters: Persephone, Symphony and Anemone. The four of them are all in some sort of "Rozen Maiden"-ish plot. They're all vyeing to be my favorite. Of course, it's not through fighting. It's actually through gathering affection. The more attention one gets, the closer she gets to becoming a real girl.

Well, here's to hoping the "Harmonia Project" doesn't die just like the dolls named after diseases... (plays with the now-battered body of Malaria)

Interlude: It's been quite long since I've written anything in his perspective. And, I think it's high time for me to write his perspective since I've been very pleased with his sensual nature. Not to mention that versus his Quietus, who also has a love for words, he has this way with words that Qui cannot have, although Qui is still my best flowery prose model.

Most likely, this would be a character sketch for a new villain in the realm of Wunderlan City (where Street of Alice and Bouquet Story happen).

It's a new plot revolving more on Voltaire and Clarice, based on the greek tragedy of Orpheus. I've always thought of Voltaire as a strong hero-type persona, so I've decided to make a story which I'd say would fit him since most strong heroes have moving romantic stories, eh?

Or is this because we're in the YNS realm where gothic romanticism is the game?

1. The World Along Cheshire Avenue

-- "Street of Alice": Chronicles the lives of the queens before the demise of the brothel, a prologue to the rest of Cheshire Avenue.
-- "Calla Blue": A set of drabbles/short stories focusing on the women of Cheshire Avenue. If "Street of Alice" was a yaoi heaven, "Calla Blue" is its yuri counterpart.
-- "Bouquet Story": The real story along Cheshire Avenue. Chronicles the life of the Bouquet Society, a hidden group of people seeking to find themselves in their arts and perhaps, romances.
-- "Queen of Spades": The probable ending of Clarice's story in Cheshire Avenue as he falls into the world of the dead the same way one falls into wonderland.

2. "Manor of Sorrows" - The DuPeine manor was once occupied by a great family. Now, as this family has now completely perished in mysterious ways and many years have passed, the house is now for sale. But, no one is definitely alone in the house. The dead are watching.
